THE HOT STOVE & THE VINE
at Hot Stove Society, January – March 2027, 12 Guests | $7,500

Your dinner experience unfolds in the kitchen of Tom Douglas' innovative Hot Stove Society, where you'll dine alongside accomplished leaders in Washington's food and wine community. Acclaimed Hot Stove Society Chef and Dame Bridget Charters, known for her passion for seasonal Northwest cuisine, culinary education and creating memorable interactive dining experiences will prepare an exceptional multi-course menu with support from Dame Carol Wang of the Seattle Culinary Academy. Each course will be thoughtfully paired with purposeful pours from Teresa Gamble, founder of Tinte Cellars, whose handcrafted wines reflect her passion for sustainable farming and Washington vineyards. Joining the evening is Dame Laura Severance of Seattle's iconic Charlie's Produce, a company that has connected local farmers, chefs and communities since 1978 and has played an instrumental role in supporting the Pacific Northwest's vibrant agricultural economy.

DAME Bridget Charters

Bridget Charters is a dynamic chef, culinary educator, and radio personality whose career reflects a deep commitment to teaching, storytelling, and celebrating great food. As the lead instructor at Seattle’s Hot Stove Society, she has been at the heart of the school since helping Tom Douglas open it in 2014. Her classes are known for their clarity, warmth, and hands on approach, shaped by decades of professional experience and an instinct for making every student feel at home in the kitchen.

Before joining Hot Stove Society, Bridget taught cooking at the Art Institute of Seattle, where she developed a reputation for blending classical technique with real world culinary insight. A formative chapter of Bridget’s life was the two years she spent living and working in Italy, an experience that profoundly shaped her cooking philosophy. She remains devoted to the simplicity, seasonality, and beauty of Italian food, often weaving those principles into her classes and radio conversations.

Bridget’s career is defined by curiosity, generosity, and a belief that great food brings people together, whether in a classroom, on the air, or around a shared table.
